The process
How The Corporate Awards Works
Independent, criteria-based recognition — from nomination to the gala stage.
Eligibility
Any organisation operating in one of our program countries — Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Senegal, South Africa or the United Kingdom — employing more than 50 people and in continuous operation for at least three years is eligible to be nominated across most categories. Sector-specific categories may carry additional criteria — see the individual category pages.
The six steps
-
1
Nomination
Organisations can self-nominate via HR leadership or be peer-nominated by colleagues, competitors or clients. Nominations open each year.
-
2
Submission deadline
Nominations close ahead of the jury window, giving reviewers several weeks to assess each entry.
-
3
Jury review
A panel of independent HR professionals, academics and former winners reviews each nomination against the category criteria.
-
4
Public vote
For public-choice categories, a shortlist per category goes to a public vote.
-
5
Jury deliberation
For research-based categories, the jury finalises winners through closed deliberation.
-
6
Announcement
Winners are announced and celebrated at the annual gala ceremony.
Cost to participate
Nomination is free. Winners receive a physical award, a digital badge for their website and social channels, and a profile on thecorporateawards.com.
